His trips with the Guardian take him across space and time, so it is not easy to determine his real age. Familial links: Deniah (wife), Anomaly aka Ann (future lover) Base of operations: Milky Way Galaxy/Abyss System Classification: Guardian Ethical alliance: Neutral History Nothing is known of his life prior to becoming Avatar Prime, only that he was the first to become a member of Gaia Force. Avatar Prime first appeared seventeen days after the Guardian spoke to the world. He made it known that, in concert with the Guardian, he would help establish a peace keeping force whose primary purpose would be the protection of Gaia, the soul of the planet. This protection, however, did not extend to its inhabitants, their fate being in Gaia's hands. Over the next few months, Gaia Force was put into action, but since these dealt primarily with extra-terrestrial threats, Avatar Prime decided that he needed others to protect the planet from internal ones as well. To that effect, he established Prime Force, Shadow Force and Wild Force, each specializing in their own specific areas. Once his work done, Avatar Prime left the system under the care of the Gaia Force and its affiliates, only returning for yearly updates or if he deemed his presence necessary. Avatar Prime is the voice of the Guardian and considered the official leader of Gaia Force, although he has relinquished that title and given full command of the team to Silverlance. It was later revealed that Avatar Prime has some connection to a woman asleep in his residence on the world, Abyss. The woman is his late wife, Deniah, who has a mysterious connection to Nicci. It is through that connection, that he learned about Q'Aestor's existence. Avatar Prime confronted him in battle but was overwhelmed by Q'Aestor's power, and was killed. The Guardian, however, had need of him and so, restored him. Though his death had been temporary, it had been long enough for Nicci to reclaim something vital that he had taken from her. Upon his return, Avatar Prime set out to reclaim it. After this last confrontation with Nicci, Avatar Prime decided to exile himself for a while. He sought solace in the void of a singularity (Black Hole). Inside that singularity, he felt a presence within. It was the soul of an ancient world, kept prisoner and unable to escape. Avatar Prime spent his time within, talking to the lost soul, and eventually developing deep feelings for it. When the Guardian called him back into service, he also retrieved the lost soul and gave it form as Anomaly. She would become Avatar Prime's companion and lover. Avatar Prime is not the only avatar the Guardian has in this galaxy. Every Guardian Sentry the Guardian creates is also an avatar of himself. However, there is only one Prime. Powers Energy manipulation: From past actions, it is believed that he can manipulate many if not all forms of energy. Energy absorption: He can absorb vast amounts of energy and has taken the onslaught of energy weapons fired in concert from 10 Gatari ships. Molecular manipulation: He can manipulate and rearrange matter on a molecular level. Star travel: He can travel through the vacuum of space and possesses inter-stellar travel capabilities. Super strength: His maximum physical strength may exceed Meridian's limit, although it has yet to be proven, as Avatar Prime is not bound to endospace as she is. He can, however, use gravity to move planetary masses. Power lift: His manipulation of cosmic forces is so great that, through them, he is capable of moving virtually anything. He has used his power to move objects as large as planetary bodies. Power endowment: Since he also selected and enhanced most members of the subgroups, he shares some of the Guardian's power giving abilities, although he does so differently. Avatar Prime does not use "guardian energy" to alter others. He does so primarily by altering and re-sequencing an individual's DNA. Cosmic manipulation: Avatar Prime can also manipulate the very fabric of the universe and send ships from one part of the galaxy to another, instantaneously. Teleportation: He can teleport objects from vast distances and anchor them in place. Force fields: He can create immense force fields. Omnilinguilism: Like all members of Gaia Force, he can communicate with any intelligent life form through guardian speech, an ability that emits vocal messages on multiple frequencies, including the psionic. Self-sustaining: He does not need to eat or drink, but can enjoy the experience, nonetheless. Invulnerability: He can resist attacks of the highest magnitude. Enhanced vision: Like all members of Gaia Force, can see in various modes and can stare directly at the sun. Extended lifespan: Like all members of Gaia Force, he can live extremely long, but being the Guardian's voice, he may even be immortal, although it hasn't been confirmed. He also mentioned that he was not bound by the same laws of space and time and states that he has been gone much longer than Gaia Force believes. In fact, he has travelled across time with the Guardian's help, making his age impossible to determine. Weaknesses: Avatar Prime is pretty much immortal because the Guardian ensures his survival. He did, however, manage to get killed by Q'Aestor who tore him apart with the use of four singularities. Paraphernalia: His cape, as well as his uniform, are an extension of him. Although his costume or uniform is primarily for modesty purposes, the cape itself has a dual purpose. It is a form of sail that helps him manoeuvre in outer space by catching and harnessing gravity waves. The cape is also used to release energy offensively. Appearance: Since his rebirth, Avatar Prime's eyes are black and seem to reflect the universe. No human DNA remains inside him, but he has been seen tearing up, which would indicate that his body still responds as a human would. As to what the composition of these tears are, it is still a mystery. Place of residence: Unlike all members of Gaia Force, Avatar Prime does not reside at the Citadel, but on the single planet surrounding the star Abyss, at the edge of the galactic void. Curiosities: All members of Gaia Force are sterile and cannot have children. It is unclear if this is Gaia's doing or the Guardian's. Main antagonist: |
